Export and Submit Block Designs

Congratulations on being one of the few Sharers at ShareABlock! To submit your block designs, you need to export them via the EditorsKit plugin.

ShareABlock won’t be possible without EditorsKit’s import and export features. You can uninstall this plugin anytime, but I encourage you to keep it and check its features. This plugin will help you save time and improve your content creation workflow.

Navigate to Plugins > Add New and search for “EditorsKit”. Then, install and activate the plugin.

Export Blocks or Templates

After plugin activation, you can now navigate to your posts or pages with the block or blocks you want to submit. Select those blocks, then click the ellipsis icon on the block toolbar to view more options. Then, click Export as JSON to export the block.

Submit Block Designs

Before submitting your block designs, please make sure that you agree to these guidelines:

  1. You have the full rights on the content and images included.
  2. You are giving ShareABlock the full rights to share those content and images.
  3. For now, you need to use core Gutenberg blocks only. This is to ensure that the block patterns and templates are working for everyone.
  4. You can use EditorsKit Plugin features when creating block patterns or templates.

If you agree with the guidelines above you can go ahead and submit your block.

  1. Block Title
  2. Short Description
  3. Full Description with additional instructions if needed.
  4. Featured Image
  5. Exported JSON file

There will be a review process to check if the block you’ve submitted is valid and if the description matches with the output.
